Michael Barrington-Hibbert is the Chief Executive Officer of BHA and oversees the firm’s Financial Services practice. He founded the firm in 2010 having previously worked for Odgers Berndtson the UK’s pre-eminent executive search firm. Michael has an extensive global track record in primary and secondary banking and markets appointments, both on the sell and buy side. Client activity spans the developed markets of EMEA, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Michael is responsible for key client relationships for BHA, operating at Board and Global Management Committee level. Clients include Global Investment Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Family Offices & Private Equity Firms.
Michael graduated from the University of New York with a dual degree in Business and Strategic Leadership before joining Morgan Stanley in New York. Five years later, in 2005, he moved to London where he began his headhunting career.
A proud REACH national role model, Michael represents the Government-backed REACH programme; an initiative to raise the aspirations and achievements of young black men. His hard work and deserved success was recognised in the PowerList 2010, sponsored by JP Morgan and Thomson Reuters, a comprehensive compendium of the most influential black people in Britain today. Additionally in September 2014 Michael was announced as one of the finalists in the Black British Business Awards in the Virgin Money Entrepreneur of the Year category. This prestigious award recognises entrepreneurs across the UK who represent the very best of business success. Michael has also worked hard on community projects and with a number of charities; he is a mentor for The Amos Bursary which is committed to assisting academically able British young men of African and Caribbean descent and he is also on the Board of Trustees for the Joanna Simpson Foundation, a charity dedicated to transforming the care, support and protection of children affected by domestic abuse and homicide.

Gareth is a Business Partner at Barrington Hibbert Associates in the Financial Services Practice based in London.
He leads the Infrastructure Practice, and operates across a number of Functional areas including Technology, Operations, Finance, Compliance and Risk where he partners with his clients to identify emerging talent.
In addition, Gareth co-leads the firm’s FinTech & Industry Infrastructure Group across EMEA, where he recruits emerging talent across Settlements, Clearing & Outsourcing, FinTech, Payments, Stock Exchanges, and Brokers.
Gareth began his headhunting career began in 2006 for a boutique financial services in London. During this time, he covered Operations and Finance across Investment Banking, Asset Management and Hedge Funds. In 2010 he joined Morgan McKinley with a mandate to expand their commodities capabilities across the EMEA region. Gareth on-boarded several investment banks, utilities, producers and Independent Traders to the organisation. Upon graduating from Birmingham University with a degree in Business, Gareth worked for Barclays Bank for two years prior to starting his head hunting career.

Solomon Animashaun is a Senior Partner at BHA. He is responsible for BHA’s Financial Markets practice globally, providing insight and expertise to both bank and buy-side clients. Additionally, he holds various non-executive directorships and advisory board memberships across Africa. Solomon joined BHA in 2015 to spearhead BHA’s Financial Markets offering in Europe and its expansion into Africa and the Middle East.
Prior to joining BHA, Solomon worked with Governments and Corporates across Africa, delivering turn-key solutions in Oil & Gas, Shipping, Agriculture, Real Estate and Engineering industries. Solomon has led several strategic ventures in Africa providing investors with both commercial and social returns.
Solomon is also a member of the board of trustees of Peculiar Saints Orphanage, residential institution devoted to the care of homeless babies and children. It encompasses caring for babies and children whose parents are deceased or otherwise unable to care for them.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Nottingham Business School receiving a degree in Business before joining a global boutique executive search firm.

Ania has worked in sixteen countries in a variety of industries including shipping, construction, retail, commercial and investment banking. She has set-up, grown, restructured and liquidated businesses – in four languages.
She has held positions including Chief Operating Officer, Country Manager, Head of Sales and Executive Director in the corporate world as well as being a board member and a Chair in charitable organisations in London.
The transformation from a shy and reserved woman without a passport in communist Poland to a well-rounded, respected and highly successful international executive has been both dramatic and noticed: Ania won a number of awards for her unique leadership style, and been nominated as a woman of the year in London and Poland.
Ania has literally climbed to the peak – the highest on each continent, including Mount Everest, and has written a well-received, inspiring book, “Why the hell bother?”.
Her passion is to help others to realize their full potential. Ania also does workshops, public speaking engagements on a variety of topics (leadership, inspirational, team work, personal development, female audiences) built around her versatile career and high altitude mountaineering.
In her spare time she runs a charity, which has built a school in Nepal for 226 children.
